Britain plans to transfer the DragonFire laser complex to Ukraine

DragonFire is a British 50+ kW power laser installation. Development of the system began in 2018 under the guidance of leading British companies.

The complex was created to destroy drones, but it is currently being looked at as a powerful enough means to intercept artillery ammunition, cruise and even ballistic missiles.

The DragonFire complex works by focusing 37 1.5 kW laser beams using mirrors into a single beam to amplify power.
