The invaders built new fortifications on the Black Sea coast

In Crimea, the Russians built more than 100 kilometers of fortifications on the Black Sea coast during February and March.

This is reported by the Permanent Representation of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

“Russia continues to increase the number of engineering and fortification structures on the Black Sea coast: new structures with a length of more than 100 km were erected during February-March 2024,” the representative office noted.

So, the line of coastal defense starts from Mykolaivka village of Simferopol district and runs along the coast to Krasnoperekopsk near the administrative border with Kherson region.

Further, new fortifications extend along the coast to the north, and their largest concentration is along the perimeter of Cape Tarkhankut, where air defense systems are located.

In particular, fortifications were recorded on the western coast of Crimea.
