Stolen Ukrainian grain is transported from Sevastopol to Venezuela for the first time

A Russian vessel was involved in yet another theft of Ukrainian grain from the occupied Crimea.

27,000 tons of Melitopol wheat were loaded onto the ship “Enisey”, reports Kateryna Yaresko, journalist of the SeaKrime project “Peacemaker Center”.

The ship came from Arkhangelsk to the Crimean coast on April 6 — and turned off AIS. The next day, the ship called in Sevastopol.

“Enisey is another vessel of the northern merchant fleet of the Russian Federation involved in the theft of Ukrainian grain. For the first time, stolen grain is being exported to Venezuela,” said Kateryna Yaresko.

The ship is currently in the Aegean Sea.

As previously reported by USM, the Lida ship, despite the ban, made a direct voyage from Turkey to occupied Sevastopol
