The thief ship takes almost 10,000 tons of grain from the Crimea

The inavders in Sevastopol loaded almost 10,000 tons of stolen Ukrainian wheat onto the bulk carrier “Sofia”.

The ship “Sofia” (IMO: 9245263) should go to the port of Kavkaz, Kateryna Yaresko, a journalist of the SeaKrime project “Peacemaker Center”, reported.

At the port, the wheat is planned to be transhipped onto an as-yet-unidentified vessel for shipment to Bangladesh.

It is known that the “Sofia” vessel has recently changed its name, flag and management, and will now be involved in the export of Ukrainian grain from the occupied Crimea.

According to SeaKrime, the shipowner of the bulk carrier “Sofia” is the recently established Russian company “Zernoexport”, the founder and director of which is Vitaly Savkin (a citizen of Ukraine, holds a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation).

The ship’s manager is “Kubanskaya Morskaia Kompaniya” LLC.
