Ukraine first used a maritime air defense drone

For the first time, Ukraine used a maritime attack drone, which was equipped with an air-to-air missile.

On Monday, May 6, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that it had destroyed a naval drone equipped with a R-73 missile, Defence Express  reports.

The video shows how the Russians, firing from the Ka-29, knock down the drone and seem to hit a missile that detonates. All this is removed from the water level.

It turns out that similar complexes are probably already at the disposal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Also, footage from a Russian helicopter captured what the air defense drone itself looks like. In particular, it is equipped with two launchers.

Earlier, the USM reported that Ukrainian naval drones will also hunt Russian aerial targets. For this, air defense systems will be installed on them.
