Poles will be shown how Ukrainian farmers work during the war

Polish farmers will visit Ukraine to objectively assess how their colleagues are working in conditions of full-scale war.

A visit of representatives of Polish farmers to Ukraine is expected in May or early June. Deputy Minister of Agricultural Policy Taras Vysotskyi stated this.

The meeting is designed to help Poles objectively assess what it is like to work in the conditions of a full-scale invasion.

Before that, Ukraine and Poland held fruitful talks, so blocking the border with Poland should not happen again. Agreements were preceded by a lot of work from all sides. In particular, Ukrainian farmers and the Association of Ukrainian Agricultural Producers actively participated in the direct dialogue with Polish colleagues.

“This gives optimism that the dialogue did not stop at the fact of unblocking the borders. It continues, both between ministries and between specialized associations,” said Taras Vysotskyi.
