The unloading of wagons with grain decreased in the ports of Great Odesa
The reduction of unloading in the ports of Odesa is affected by air alarms, as well as systematic attacks by the Russian Federation on the port and energy infrastructures.
This was reported by Valerii Tkachev, Deputy Director of the Department of Commercial Work of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”.
Thus, since the beginning of June, the rate of daily unloading of wagons with grain in the ports of Great Odesa fluctuates in the range of 1,300-1,500 wagons per day.
The average daily rate of unloading of wagons in the ports of Great Odesa is 1,338 wagons per day. During the week, the indicator decreased by -11 kg/day or -0.82%.
“The number of wagons with grain moving in the direction of the ports of Greater Odessa has increased (from 5,704 wagons to 6,281 wagons). Also, an increase in the availability of wagons +577 wagons or +9.19% over the last week is recorded,” the message says.
The accumulation of wagons with grain in the direction of the port of Izmail increased by 40 wagons (from 1,070 wagons to 1,110 wagons).
The average daily rate of unloading in the port of Izmail is -118 wagons per day, for a week the indicator decreased by -3 wagons per day or -2.48%.
“The increase in unloading in ports is hindered by constant air alarms (the personnel of port operators are forced to stay in bomb shelters) and systematic attacks on energy and port infrastructure. For the last 5 days, we have been recording worsening weather conditions (rain), which also hinders the transshipment of grain cargoes in the port,” Valerii Tkachev emphasized.
