Photo: a new marine drone was presented in Odesa

The presentation took place at the international security forum in the Black Sea region — Black Sea Security Forum 2024.

In Odesa, the newest Ukrainian multifunctional sea surface drone Stalker 5.0 was presented. This is reported by “Dumska”.

The drone is 5 meters long and 1.2 meters wide. The range is 600 kilometers. A combat unit weighing 150 kilograms can be installed on board.

In addition to the role of a kamikaze drone, the Stalker 5.0 can be used for reconnaissance and coastal patrolling in sea and river areas.

In addition, the Stalker 5.0 has a special compartment in the body where water, food and military equipment can be stored. In this way, the drone can provide soldiers of the Defense Forces located on islands or remote areas of the coast.

The drone can reach speeds of more than 40 knots (approximately 75 km/h). Cruising speed — 30 knots (55 km/h).

The drone is equipped with a video communication and control system based on Starlink. The cost of one copy of Stalker 5.0 is about 60,000 euros.

We will remind, currently the main known surface drones in the arsenal of the Defense Forces of Ukraine remain Sea Baby, Magura V5 and Mykola-3. In addition to them, “Mamai” and a large number of various transition links and small-volume products are in service.

As the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi previously stated, naval drones have already pushed the invaders out of the Ukrainian waters of the Black Sea.
