The FSB announced the prevention of a terrorist attack on the “Admiral Kuznetsov” cruiser. It was allegedly planned by the Ukrainian special services.

The Russians claim that they prevented a terrorist attack on a ship and an attempt on three officials of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, rosZMI reports.

According to the statement of the FSB, in March, a member of the crew of the cruiser was allegedly approached by an employee of the special services of Ukraine using WhatsApp and Telegram, who “using techniques of psychological influence” tried to induce him to commit a terrorist attack on the ship. He, however, turned to the FSB, after which he corresponded with an agent already under the control of the special services in order to find out valuable information, the agency says.

Earlier, USM reported that the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine damaged a Russian ship and received intelligence about the Baltic Fleet of Russia.
