The judge planned a vacation on a cruise ship under the guise of a business trip – and received suspicion.

The judge of the city court and the lawyer were informed about the suspicion. They are charged with forgery of documents and fraud, the Prosecutor General’s Office said.

The investigation established that the judge decided to rest abroad under the guise of a business trip. He was planning a trip on a cruise ship to the islands in the Caribbean.

The suspect and his lawyer acquaintance wrote a fake invitation to the conference, which became the basis for the travel order. Thus, the judge was able to leave the country during martial law, using forged documents.

Now they are deciding the issue of choosing a preventive measure for both defendants.

Earlier USM reported that the SBI exposed one of the ship commanding officers of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He let subordinates ashore for bribes.
