The Russian Federation maintains its presence in the Black Sea due to submarines, — Pletenchuk
The Russians are using a new tactic to maintain their presence in the Black Sea after losing a large part of their fleet.
The invaders are trying to maintain a presence in the Black Sea with aircraft and submarines. Dmytro Pletenchuk, spokesman for the Navy of the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian SSR, said this, Ukrinform writes.
“Traditionally, the main type of activity (ed.: in the Black Sea) is aviation. This situation has already become quite permanent and long-lasting. Also in the sea, we observe one submarine of the 136 project,” said Pletenchuk.
As the spokesman noted, no enemy units have been recorded for more than a week.
As a reminder, since 2022, Ukraine has hit at least 26 Russian ships.
