The invaders replenished the fleet with a new anti-mine ship

The aggressor country launched a new project 12700 minesweeper. This is already the ninth ship of this type.

The Russians launched a new minesweeper “Afanasiy Ivannikov” of project 12700. This is reported by “Militarnyi”.

Afanasy Ivannikov became the ninth minesweeper of this type. Another five are at various stages of production.

The ship was built at the “Central Nevsky Shipbuilding Plant”. After passing the factory tests, the minesweeper will be transferred to one of the fleets of the Russian Federation.

The enemy ship is equipped with hydroacoustic systems placed on board and on autonomous underwater vehicles. The minesweeper was developed using a large number of composite materials, which are supposed to provide increased stability.

The armament of the Afanasy Ivannikov minesweeper consists of an automatic 6-barrel AK-306 gun and a portable anti-aircraft complex “Igla-1” or “Verba”.

However, the Russians are losing ships very quickly in the Black Sea thanks to the successful work of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. So, recently, the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine revealed a fatal mistake of the Russian Federation, due to which it lost the “Rostov-on-Don” submarine.
