Iran supplied Russia with ballistic missiles in exchange for wheat

In Iran, assistance to Russian troops was explained by dependence on soybeans and wheat, which Moscow supplies to Tehran.

Iran has admitted that it has transferred its ballistic missiles to Russia. This was stated by a member of the National Security Commission of the Iranian Parliament, Bakhshaish Ardestani, hromadske reports.

According to him, Iran was “forced” to barter with Russia, because Moscow supplies Tehran with soybeans and wheat. Here it is worth noting that Iran also receives from Russia Ukrainian grain stolen from the temporarily occupied territories.

“It cannot be worse than now. We give missiles to Hezbollah, Hamas and Hashd al-Shaabi, so why not give them to the Russian Federation?”, Ardestani also commented.

At the same time, he said that Europe’s strengthening of sanctions against Iran “will only be harmful.”

Earlier, it became known that Iran had sent short-range ballistic missiles to Russia — precisely against the background of increasing missile attacks on Ukrainian cities.
