Ukraine exported more than $19 billion worth of goods through the maritime corridor


During the year of existence of the Ukrainian maritime corridor, Ukraine exported goods worth more than 19 billion US dollars.

From August 2023 to August 2024, Ukraine exported goods worth $19.2 billion (85.9 million tons) by sea. This is stated in the draft law on the state budget for 2025.

Ukraine, in particular, sent $15.8 billion worth of agricultural products (65.7 million tons) by sea.

It will be recalled that 2,300 ships used the Ukrainian maritime corridor during the year, said the spokesman of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, captain 3rd rank Dmytro Pletenchuk.

According to his information, the grain corridor is actively used by European countries, among which Spain and the countries of the global South are leading.
