Russians are jamming GPS in the Black Sea to interfere with Ukrainian intelligence

The Russians installed a GPS jamming complex near the Gelendzhik port in Novorossiysk to hide the location of their ships.

This was revealed during the analysis of information from AIS, which is used in civil shipping, “Militarnyi” reports.

Specialists noticed that the location of the Russian ships according to the signal differed from their actual location.

Obstacles to the GPS are concentrated in the area of the marker buoy of the Russian Federation No. 133. The Russians jam the GPS in order to interfere with the work of Ukrainian intelligence and to hide the exact location of warships in the port.

USM previously reported that a strange “roundabout” of several dozen ships was recorded in the Mediterranean Sea. But there is no mysticism in this phenomenon.

It also recently became known that the Russians are jamming the GPS signal in Finland in an attempt to destabilize the situation in NATO countries.
