The Russian Federation is building a new structure to protect the Kerch bridge — Pletenchuk

Previous attempts by the Russian invaders to complete the construction of the defensive structure failed.

In the area of ​​the Kerch Bridge in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, Russian forces are erecting an unknown defensive structure. This was reported by the spokesman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Pletenchuk, Ukrinform writes.

According to him, it is difficult to say what exactly the occupiers are building, but it is unlikely that they will have time to complete the work by the end of this season. Due to difficult weather conditions, all their previous attempts to complete the construction had failed.

“What it is will become clear when they complete this building. But this season, most likely, they will not be able to do it, because the period of storms begins, and accordingly, building in such conditions will be very difficult. This may be a protective structure, another transition — it is too early to draw conclusions at the moment,” Pletenchuk noted.

As USM wrote, earlier the partisans of the ATESH resistance movement found out that the Crimean bridge needs urgent repair.
