USAID compensates 30% of the cost of grain handling equipment to Ukrainian agricultural enterprises

At least 20 Ukrainian agricultural logistics companies will have the opportunity to purchase equipment at a 30% discount.

According to the program, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises will be able to purchase grain handling equipment from Zavod Kobzarenko LLC at a reduced price. This is reported by the USAID Project “Economic Support of Ukraine”.

These are companies whose annual revenue does not exceed 40 million euros. The USAID project covers 30% of the cost of the equipment, while companies pay the remaining 70%. This initiative is aimed at increasing export and transshipment capacities by 2.5 million tons per year.

Businesses can purchase various types of equipment, including mobile wagon unloaders and ground handling bunkers, which will increase the efficiency of logistics processes in the grain industry. In general, it is planned to compensate 30% of the cost of 51 pieces of equipment.

The program is not available to agricultural holdings and companies that have already received assistance from USAID.

USM previously reported that USAID and FAO will provide Ukrainian farmers with sleeves for grain storage.
