Ukrainian ports processed 82 million tons in 10 months


Cargo turnover of Ukrainian seaports in 10 months exceeded 82 million tons of cargo, which is almost twice as much as in the same period of 2023.

This is reported by the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority

 During January-October 2024, the ports of Ukraine handled 82.1 million tons of cargo, which is almost twice as much as in the same period of 2023 (46.1 million tons).

The basis of the cargo flow is the products of the agricultural sector – 50.7 million tons, which confirms the key role of sea ports in ensuring the export potential of Ukrainian agribusiness.

Positive dynamics are also observed in monthly indicators. So, in October 2024, the ports handled 7.9 million tons of cargo, which is 58% more than in October last year (5 million tons).

As a reminder, Ukrainian exports in October became the highest for the entire year, reaching $3.8 billion, which is 18.7% more than in September.
