Russians tried to force the Kurakhiv Reservoir by boat (video)
Ukrainian paratroopers repelled the invaders’ attack on the Kurakhiv reservoir.
Russian troops tried to force the Kurakhiv reservoir by boats, but suffered a crushing defeat thanks to the actions of Ukrainian paratroopers. This is reported by “Militarnyi”.
As reported by the 46th separate airmobile brigade, the invaders tried to use the cover of night to gain a foothold in houses on the outskirts of the city.
Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance detected the Russians’ movements in advance and transmitted the coordinates to the operators of strike drones. When the invaders landed, the drones immediately struck, destroying the enemy forces.
Despite the successful defense at the reservoir, the invaders continue to advance in other directions. Last week, Russian troops entered the village of Dalne, dividing the Ukrainian defense into two parts. Because of this, the corridor for the withdrawal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of the villages of Uspenivka and Kostyantynopolske has been reduced to 5.5 km.
The occupiers have also intensified their actions north of the Kurakhiv reservoir, which was created to cool the Kurakhiv TPP. The TPP itself had previously suffered from Russian shelling and was dismantled for spare parts to repair other facilities.
Recently, USM wrote that the Russians had placed the Pantsyr S-1 air defense system near an oil depot, a diving school, a training facility for combat dolphins, and weapons depots in Sevastopol.
