Last year, Ukrainian ports handled a record 97.2 million tons of cargo
In 2024, the cargo turnover of Ukrainian ports exceeded the 2023 figure by 57%.
This was reported by the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine.
According to operational data from the State Enterprise “Seaports Administration of Ukraine”, Ukrainian seaports processed a record 97.2 million tons of cargo in 2024, exceeding the 2023 figure by 57%.
“Agricultural products accounted for about 60 million tons of the total volume, confirming the key role of ports in the export of the Ukrainian agricultural sector. 88.1 million tons of cargo were exported by sea, compared to 56.2 million tons a year earlier,” the ministry noted.
