The invaders continued the arrest of suspects in the Kerch Bridge explosion case

The Kremlin continues to detain suspects in the “terrorist attack” on the illegally built bridge connecting Russia with the annexed Crimea.

The Southern District Military Court of the Russian Federation has decided to continue the detention of suspects in the case of the explosion on the Kerch Bridge. This is reported by “Krym.Realii”.

The arrest without a sentence was extended until June 8, 2025.

Recall that on October 8, 2022, an explosion occurred on the Crimean Bridge. According to the Russian authorities, a truck was blown up on the bridge, which led to the collapse of two road spans and a large-scale fire on the railway section. Russian dictator Vladimir Putin called the incident a “terrorist attack”, blaming Ukrainian special services, although independent experts have repeatedly questioned the official version.

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has opened a case of terrorism, declaring the involvement of 12 people, including citizens of Ukraine and Armenia, in the incident.

The bridge connecting the occupied Crimea with Russia is an important logistical route for transferring military equipment and resources to the front. After the explosion, Russia intensified missile strikes on Ukraine, including barbaric attacks on civilian infrastructure. Putin cynically called these actions an “adequate response” to the events on the bridge.
