86 Ukrainian refugees were temporarily evacuated from a ship used as a shelter.

The incident occurred on Sunday, January 19, in the province of Limburg, writes the Dutch publication NU.

Police found an object resembling a hand grenade near a ship used as a shelter for Ukrainian refugees.

After that, 86 Ukrainian refugees were temporarily evacuated to the city council building.

Initially, law enforcement officers assumed that it was a grenade that could be a World War II munition.

“The hand grenade near the ship used as a shelter for Ukrainian refugees turned out to be a dummy, the residents can return to their places of residence,” the report says.

As previously reported by USM, a fire broke out on a ship used as a shelter in the Netherlands. About 300 residents of the ship had to be evacuated due to the fire.
