Kernel exported 6.3 million tons of grain in 2024
Last year, Kernel Agroholding exported 6.3 million tons of grain and 1.4 million tons of oil.
This was announced by Kernel Director of Communications and Government Relations Kateryna Spivakova at a meeting with ministers of economy, trade and representatives of EU governments.
She joined the discussion of deepening trade cooperation, attracting investments and developing specific projects to attract the European private sector to the Ukrainian market.
According to her, in October 2024, Kernel received $150 million in financing from international creditors — commercial banks and financial institutions — for the first time since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
“Our sector is the largest taxpayer in the country’s economy, and large agricultural companies are actively investing in Agritech, ESG and logistics. At the same time, we need support in protecting ports and other export infrastructure from constant shelling, which is a guarantee of maintaining world food security,” Kateryna Spivakova emphasized.
As previously reported by USM, in January Ukraine exported goods worth $3.1 billion. 6.6 million tons of goods were transported by sea.
