Ukraine sent the third handy-sized soybean meal to Spain

Since the beginning of the 2024/25 MY, Ukraine has exported the fourth hand-sized soybean meal, three of which were to Spain.
In the second half of February, Ukraine sent another hand-sized soybean meal to Spain, ASAP Agri. reports.
Since the start of the season in September 2024, three such vessels have already been delivered to Spain. This makes Spain the third largest importer of Ukrainian soybean meal in the 2024/25 MY with a total volume of 77.94 thousand tons (15%).
“The latest offers of Brazilian soybean meal for Spain were at around $350/t, but buyers usually expect a discount on the Ukrainian product due to differences in protein content,” said Khrystyna Serebryakova, CEO of ASAP Agri and broker of Atria Brokers.
Recall, Ukraine set a new record for soybean meal exports in January, reaching 132 thousand tons, which is 29% more than the previous month, according to official statistics.
