A fuel tank caught fire in the Russian port of Tuapse


A fire broke out at an oil complex in Tuapse on the night of March 14, covering an area of ​​over a thousand square meters — locals report a drone attack.

According to preliminary data, one of the gasoline tanks caught fire, and more than a hundred emergency workers are extinguishing it.

Local residents reported a strike on the oil refinery in Tuapse and the fire that broke out there. In turn, local media noted that “drone debris fell on the tank” or “a missile could have been used.”

Head of the Monitoring Group of the Institute for Black Sea Strategic Studies Andriy Klymenko notes that this refinery is located in the port of Tuapse.

As a reminder, on February 26, local media reported that an oil refining unit and pipeline were damaged as a result of the strike on the Tuapse refinery. That day, a drone attack was recorded on the Krasnodar Territory, one of the targets was the seaport in Tuapse.
