Ukraine unveils secret naval drone “Katran” (video)

The Katran naval drone is equipped with torpedoes, a minigun, a machine gun, MANPADS and other weapons.

This was reported by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.

According to him, the Katran naval drone is a high-tech development from the Ukrainian military company Military Armored Company HUB, which is a member of the Brave1 cluster.

“Information about missions with this drone is classified, but it has become a real game changer at sea,” the minister emphasized.

The drone is equipped with torpedoes, a minigun, a machine gun, MANPADS and other weapons. It calmly covers distances of more than 1,000 kilometers, performs strike and reconnaissance operations. The drone is multifunctional – effectively destroys sea, ground and air targets.

It should be noted that the Katran naval drone does not require a separate electronic warfare system, it has a built-in system for automatic threat recognition and shooting traps.
