Pletenchuk: Russians carried out measures to disperse ships in the Black Sea

The Ukrainian Navy is ready for another Russian provocation by May 9.
This was announced on air by the spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk.
“Today they carried out dispersal measures. This is considered an exit to the sea, but they remained in the bay. That is, the enemy is trying to disperse its equipment so as not to hit it. This tactic, in principle, is also not new, and it is clear why it is being done,” Pletenchuk emphasized.
Commenting on the issue of possible Russian provocations by May 9, the spokesman emphasized that the Ukrainian defenders are ready for them.
“We constantly expect some surprises from the Russians, and you see that now they are operating mainly in the airspace from our direction. But there is nothing new in this either, we are repelling attacks on the spot,” Dmytro Pletenchuk noted.
The spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy added that the enemy’s naval and boat fleet cannot take an active part in the fighting now, because for this it would have to go to sea, exposing itself to danger.
We will remind, on the night of April 24, the Russians launched 12 Kalibr missiles from ships at Ukraine. In total, the military detected 215 enemy air targets.
