Russia uses divers for covert attacks: Ukrainian drones have already tested one of them

The invaders are trying to bypass drones and thermal imagers, advancing towards Ukrainian positions underwater.
On one of the front lines, Russian troops have begun using specially trained groups of divers to secretly advance into the rear of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, writes “Militarnyi”.
This is evidenced by a video released by the “Ptacky Blinders” unit. The footage shows the moment when a Ukrainian drone bomber spotted an enemy fighter in a wetsuit who had just crossed a water obstacle. After identification, a precise air strike was launched at him.
“This is not about ordinary infantry – these soldiers have good special training,” “Sharp Helmets” emphasized.
The invaders are equipped with wetsuits, which allows them to stay in the water for a long time, and underwater movement makes them invisible to thermal imaging devices. The use of such tactics is probably due to the complexity of logistics – boats and jet skis, despite their speed and maneuverability, become easy prey for the FPV drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Therefore, the Russian command seems to be trying to accumulate assault groups of divers for sudden attacks and consolidation on Ukrainian positions.
In addition to combat missions, these groups can also deliver provisions and ammunition in airtight containers, as well as conduct engineering reconnaissance before attempting a large-scale landing.
As USM reported, earlier the Ukrainian Magura naval drone destroyed the Russian Su-30 fighter for the first time.
