The Rada ratified the agreement with the US on minerals.

The Verkhovna Rada supported the ratification of the agreement with the US on minerals and the creation of a reconstruction investment fund.

This became known from the live broadcast of the meeting on May 8.

338 people’s deputies voted for the relevant decision. Nine did not vote.

As a reminder, on April 30, Ukraine and the United States signed an agreement on economic cooperation, which provides for the creation of an investment fund. Within the framework of the old agreement on minerals, Donald Trump wanted full control over Ukrainian ports.

As previously reported by USM, the reconstruction fund from the US may cover investments in Ukrainian ports.
