Russia attacked the port infrastructure of the Odesa region at night, war crime investigation underway

Russian occupation forces continue shelling of Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure.
On the night of May 24, Russian forces attacked the Odesa region with strike drones. This was повідомили reported by the Odesa regional prosecutor’s office.
The main target of the shelling was the region’s port infrastructure.
“The review is ongoing, prosecutors in cooperation with the investigator are documenting another war crime by the Russian Federation,” the statement says.
The prosecutor’s office has already opened a pre-trial investigation under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – violation of the laws and customs of war.
According to the Air Force, the movement of strike drones in the direction of Odesa was recorded in the Black Sea. The air alert was announced twice – from 00:10 to 00:44 and from 00:52 to 01:26. At about 00:21, explosions were heard in the city.
As a reminder, the day before yesterday, the Russian Federation struck the port infrastructure of Odesa with two ballistic missiles. Three people were killed.
