Defense Intelligence presented a documentary about naval operations at Zmiinyi island and the “Boyko towers”

The film reveals for the first time the details of the special operations of Ukrainian intelligence in the Black Sea.
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine presented the documentary “The Fight for the Black Sea” directed by Oleksandr Nebylovych.
In the film, the fighters of the “Nobody” unit from the “Timur Special Unit” talk for the first time about unique sea operations, in particular – the return to Ukrainian control of Zmiinyi Island and gas production platforms, known as “Boyka’s rigs”.
“This is the direct speech of soldiers who risk their lives every day in sea operations to push the enemy away from the Ukrainian coast,” the Defense Intelligence noted.
The film contains exclusive footage of the landing of Ukrainian intelligence officers on the “Ukraine” and “Tavrida” platforms. Participants in special operations share memories of the training of combat groups and medical teams, and also talk about the challenges and risks of working at sea during the active phase of the war.
