The Cabinet of Ministers liquidates the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to reduce four ministries as part of the government reorganization.

This was announced by the permanent representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk.

In particular, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to liquidate the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources and assign their functions to the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine (renamed the Ministry of Economy).

Commissions have been formed to liquidate the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources. The Regulation on the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine has been approved.

Earlier, USM reported that agricultural associations appealed to Zelenskyy with a request not to liquidate the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
