The Cabinet of Ministers appointed Yevheniy Ignatenko to the position of Deputy Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration

Former head of the Shipping Administration Yevheniy Ignatenko was appointed deputy head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
This was reported by The permanent representative of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Taras Melnychuk reported this.
On Wednesday, August 20, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the appointment of Yevheniy Ignatenko as deputy head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
In December 2022, he headed the State Service of Maritime and Inland Water Transport and Shipping of Ukraine. He was dismissed from his post in February 2025.
We will remind, from the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, Yevheniy Ignatenko mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a platoon commander of the 59th Yakov Handzyuk Brigade. Together with his comrades, he participated in the liberation of Kherson from the Russian occupiers. He has the distinction of the Order of Merit of the 3rd degree.
Prior to that, Ignatenko held the position of Commercial Director of Grain-Transshipment since 2017. From 2013 to 2017, he worked as Director of the Nibulon shipping company.
