The competition for the concession of the port of Chornomorsk will last six months, – the Ministry of Development

The Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories discussed the concession in the port of Chornomorsk with the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

The main topics of the negotiations were further cooperation in the areas of ports, airports, roads, utilities and the development of front-line regions, the press service of the ministry writes.

In particular, the parties discussed the start of a competition to find an investor for a public-private partnership project in the port of Chornomorsk.

“The competition is expected to last about six months, and the project will become an example of attracting private investment even in wartime. Projects in the ports of Olvia and Kherson were also discussed. Andriy Kashuba emphasized that these are not only economic projects, but also an indicator of our ability to attract investors despite all the challenges of the war,” the ministry noted.

Earlier, USM reported that the first concession project launched during the Great War in the port of Chornomorsk.
