UZ subsidiary launches route between Ukrainian cities and Polish port of Gdansk

A subsidiary of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia — UZ Cargo Poland — has organized a direct intermodal connection between the port of Gdansk and the cities of Ukraine.
This was reported by the UZ press service.
Since August, the service of direct intermodal trains has been resumed in the connection of EU ports—Ukraine—EU for EU container lines. At the first stage, the intermodal connection connected Gdansk and Kyiv.
Starting from September, intermodal trains also run between Gdansk and the Dnipro.
Container delivery time:
• from Gdansk to Kyiv — 4 days;
• from Gdansk to the Dnipro — 5 days.
Earlier, USM said that the operators of the Odesa port appealed to the authorities due to Ukrzaliznytsia tariffs.
