Russia has staged a new provocation against NATO in the Baltic Sea

A Russian fighter jet came dangerously close to a German frigate in the Baltic Sea.
A Russian plane flew dangerously close to the German frigate Hamburg. German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said that this was the second incident in the past two days, writes “Militarnyi”.
According to him, such actions by Russian pilots are more political than military in nature and are aimed at testing NATO’s readiness.
“Putin wants to provoke us. He is trying to identify the weaknesses of the Alliance member states,” Pistorius emphasized.
Similar maneuvers by the Russian Federation are increasingly taking place near NATO borders. The situation has already been compared to recent cases of violation of the airspace of Poland and Estonia by Russian planes and drones.
Concerns in the region have also been heightened by reports from Denmark, where unidentified drones approached an air base with deployed fighter jets. According to Danish law enforcement, they were launched from a Russian ship.
