Agroholding Kernel may become one of the participants in the auction for the sale of the Odesa Port Plant.
Kernel is considering the possibility of participating in the auction for the privatization of the OPP. The company reported this in response to a request from LB.
In a comment to LB, Kernel confirmed that they are considering the possibility of participating in the auction for the privatization of the Odesa Port Plant, however, the company did not disclose details.
We will recall that the State Property Fund has put up for privatization a state block of shares of JSC “Odesa Port Plant” . The auction will be held on November 25, 2025 in the “Prozorro.Sales” system
The starting price of the lot is UAH 4.49 billion. The guarantee deposit is UAH 224.4 million, the registration fee is UAH 80 thousand. Applications for participation can be submitted until November 24.
Odesa Port Plant is one of the largest producers and transshippers of nitrogen fertilizers in Ukraine, located in the city of Pivdenne, Odessa region on the Black Sea coast. The company exports more than 90% of urea and 99% of ammonia to more than 30 countries around the world, including the EU and the USA.
The plant owns 45 real estate objects with an area of over 285 thousand m², including production and logistics complexes, administrative premises, and social facilities. The company also has 32 land plots with a total area of over 262 hectares. As of June 30, 2025, Odesa Port Plant employed 1,436 people.
Earlier, USM reported that the Odesa Port Plant suspended grain transshipment due to Russian shelling.
