8 sea mines thrown onto the coast of Odesa region after a storm

The military eliminated eight drifting mines that posed a threat to the civilian population and shipping in the waters of the Odesa region.

Explosive objects were torn from minefields set by the Russians during a storm. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Navy.

The military promptly discovered and destroyed them, preventing incidents in the coastal zone.

The Navy emphasized that sea mines remain a serious danger to shipping in the Black Sea and called on citizens to be as careful as possible.

Earlier, USM reported that the Bulgarian Navy neutralized a naval drone that was thrown off near Varna.
