Shipping Administration prepares to operate during blackouts

The Shipping Administration held a working meeting on preparations for the winter season.
This was reported by the head of the Shipping Administration Mykola Kravchuk.
According to him, at the base of the State Enterprise “Chornomorsk Port” together with the captains of seaports, heads of the State Hydrography and the State Enterprise ” Shipping Register of Ukraine” discussed further ensuring the safety of shipping and the operation of a special maritime corridor in the Black Sea.
“In particular, we identified ways to implement the Plan of Organizational and Technical Measures to Facilitate Navigation during the Ice Campaign. The priority remains the security of critical coastal infrastructure against the backdrop of Russian terrorist attacks. The focus is on additional protection of vessels, port facilities and adjacent facilities from missile, drone and mine threats, constant interaction with the Defense Forces of Ukraine and port operators to improve maritime security,” Mykola Kravchuk emphasized.
Also during the meeting, they discussed the readiness to organize uninterrupted operation of services in the absence of stable power supply.
