ARMA puts up for sale the arrested vessel “Usko Mfu”

The National Agency for Tracing and Asset Management has announced an auction for the sale of the arrested vessel Usko Mfu.

This is stated in the announcement in the electronic trading system Prozorro

The starting sale price is UAH 4,958,880 (excluding VAT). Offers are accepted until November 3 inclusive. The three-round English auction will be held on November 4.

The vessel under the Cameroon flag belongs to the Turkish company “MED VOYAGER SHIPPING INC”. The asset is located in the city of Reni in the Odesa region.

The ARMA warned of a number of shortcomings that currently affect the functionality of the vessel: among them – wear and dents on the port and starboard sides of the hull, wear of metal on the deck, oil leaks, breaks in the deck ventilation system, wear of wheels and cover rails, etc.

Given the long stay of the vessel in the sludge, the technical condition has deteriorated – there are reasons to believe that the mechanisms have defrosted.

It will be recalled that Ukraine detained the vessel “Usko Mfu” on the Danube due to ties with the Russian Federation. It entered Ukrainian waters after a voyage to occupied Sevastopol.

USM also reported that a Ukrainian court sentenced the captain of the vessel, who helped export Ukrainian grain from Crimea.
