Ukraine will receive modern rescue vessels from Sweden, SES fighters have already completed training

Swedish vessels will soon arrive in Ukraine as humanitarian aid to Ukrainian emergency workers.
A delegation of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine visited Sweden in cooperation with the Swedish Emergency Management Agency (MSB). This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.
The purpose of the visit was to train Ukrainian specialists in working with modern rescue vessels, which will soon arrive in Ukraine as humanitarian aid.
During training in Stockholm and Gothenburg, Ukrainian rescuers practiced working on the 16-meter rescue vessel Märta Collin and the 15-meter high-speed fire vessel Balder.
The training program included:
• practicing vessel management skills;
• familiarization with the hull design and fire extinguishing systems;
• studying the technical characteristics and capabilities of the vessels.
The Ukrainian delegation also held meetings with representatives of the Swedish manufacturing company, which manufactured both vessels and will continue to provide them with technical support and service.
Soon, the Märta Collin and Balder vessels will join the Ukrainian rescue fleet, becoming an important part of the modernization of the marine and river units of the State Emergency Service.
Earlier, USM wrote that the Commander of the Ukrainian Navy Oleksiy Neizhpapa and the Minister of Defense of Sweden Paul Jonsson agreed to strengthen the Ukrainian fleet.
