One of the largest oil terminals on the Black Sea is on fire: drones attacked the port of Novorossiysk

The main target of the strike was the Sheskharis oil terminal, a key hub for oil exports from Russia via the Black Sea.

On the night of November 14, a series of explosions were heard in Novorossiysk, Russia. Videos on social networks confirm a large-scale fire in the port area, writes Ukrainska Pravda.

The main target was the Sheskharis transshipment complex, a strategic facility of Transneft, through which a significant part of Urals oil is shipped. Together with the Caspian Pipeline Consortium terminal, this complex ensures the export of more than 2 million barrels of oil per day – about 5% of global sea supplies.
