More and more grain wagons are being unloaded at the ports of Great Odesa


The rate of unloading of grain wagons in the ports of Great Odesa continued to grow last week and reached almost 1,300 per day.

This was reported by Valery Tkachev, Deputy Director of the Department of Transportation Technology and Commercial Work of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia, writes APK-Inform.

“The average daily rate of unloading of wagons in the ports of Great Odesa as of November 13 was 1,296 units per day. Over the week, this rate increased by 45 wagons,” Tkachev specified.

At the same time, a decrease in the number of wagons with grain moving towards the ports of the Odessa region is recorded – over the week, this rate decreased by 33 units per day, to 8,882 units. The average daily load of wagons on the network towards the ports of Great Odesa also decreased during the specified period – by 40 wagons, to 1,331 wagons per day.

Tkachev also noted that the number of grain wagons moving towards the Danube ports has increased significantly over the past week — by 110 units, to 224 wagons per day.

The average daily grain unloading rate as of November 13 was 6 wagons per day, a decrease of 6 units over the week.
