The Ministry of Development held another meeting regarding the concession of the Chornomorsk port terminals

The Ministry of Development of Ukraine plans to announce the start of a tender for the concession of the Chornomorsk port terminals in the near future.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.

On Thursday, November 20, the fifth meeting of the tender commission to determine the investor for the First and Container Terminals of the Chornomorsk port was held at the Ministry of Development and Infrastructure.

The commission decided to submit the tender documentation to the Ministry for approval. Namely, a draft strategy for organizing and conducting the tender in the format of a competitive dialogue, a draft list of measures for monitoring potential threats to national security during the tender, as well as a draft instruction for applicants.

“Separately, the commission members considered the proposed changes to the instructions for applicants — in terms of determining the size of the registration fee — and supported the relevant adjustments. The instruction will be published together with other tender documents,” the department noted.

They also reviewed the draft announcement of the competition and approved it for publication on the official website of the ministry.

The Ministry of Development emphasized that in the near future, after completing all approval procedures, they will announce the start of the competition.

As previously reported by USM, the concession project included the First and Container Terminals of the Port of Chornomorsk with six deep-water berths and all infrastructure. The competition for the concession was planned to be announced in early November.
