Orlivka ferry complex closed after shelling: restoration will take up to several weeks

The Russians carried out more than 20 hits on the infrastructure of the civilian ferry complex.
As a result of the Russian attack on the night of November 22, the Orlivka ferry complex on the border with Romania suffered serious damage. This was reported by the company’s press service.
In total, the Russians struck the territory of the civilian facility more than 20 times, which led to the destruction of the infrastructure and disruption of communications.
The company noted that it will take from several days to several weeks to restore the complex, depending on the volume of repair work and the availability of resources.
“Our small, but comfortable for everyone complex has suffered significant damage. The restoration of the infrastructure requires significant material, labor resources and, most importantly, time,” the statement from Orlivka Ferry Complex LLC reads.
The complex’s administration urged travelers to temporarily use other checkpoints near the border with Romania and to be understanding of the situation.
