In the Odesa region, military sailors destroyed another sea mine

Sailors of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully neutralized a sea mine discovered in the waters of the Odesa region.

This was reported by the press service of the Naval Forces.

The explosive object was destroyed by controlled detonation.

The command emphasized the need to strictly observe safety rules while on the coast or near the water. In the event of the discovery of suspicious objects, citizens are urged not to approach, touch or try to move dangerous finds, but to immediately notify the State Emergency Service, police or military.

The Navy emphasizes that the cooperation of the civilian population with the defense forces is critically important for preventing victims and timely responding to the mine threat, which remains high in the coastal waters of the Black Sea.

Also, the day before, Ukraine presented new technologies for underwater mine clearance.
