In Mykolaiv, the director of the enterprise was fined almost UAH 250 million for illegal grain export

The director of RELTON GROUP LLC was found guilty of violating customs regulations when exporting agricultural products using forged documents.

The Central District Court of Mykolaiv fined the director 100% of the cost of the exported goods, Elevatorist reports, citing a resolution dated November 25, 2025.

According to the State Customs Service, from August to October 2021, the director organized the export by sea of grain crops — wheat, rapeseed, barley and peas — with a total weight of almost 28 thousand tons and a value of over UAH 249 million to the Hungarian company The Mark Global kft.

The court found that the foreign economic contracts, invoices and customs declarations submitted to the customs contained false information about the recipient of the products. The Hungarian company was declared liquidated on July 2, 2021, and at the time of concluding the contracts it did not have a tax number. The company director was aware of the impossibility of the counterparty’s legal activity, but still exported the products, thereby hiding the goods from customs control.

The total amount of the fine and confiscation is 249 million hryvnias. The decision was made on the basis of available evidence and without the participation of the accused, as he did not appear at the meeting.

Earlier, USM reported that a Ukrainian company tried to illegally export more than 180 tons of soybeans across the border with Romania.
