Russians damaged an arrested ship in the Odesa region: it was supposed to be sold at auction

A Russian attack in the Odesa region damaged an arrested civilian ship. It was to be sold at auction at the end of the year.
The Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region published published a photo of the fire extinguishing on the ship.
The photo shows the name of the ship that caught fire – Anka. ARMA put it up for auction, which was to take place on December 29.

In the documentation for the auction, ARMA emphasized that the Anka ship already has damage. The main hull structures of the ship – side plating, main deck flooring, bulkheads – have individual traces of corrosion. The paint coating is missing in some places, there is swelling and peeling on the hull structures. It is not yet known how the Russian attack will affect the sale of the ship.

The sea vessel Anka illegally entered the port of temporarily occupied Crimea, violating the state border of Ukraine and the internationally recognized status of the peninsula.
USM previously reported that attacks on ships in the Black Sea have led to an increase in insurance premiums.
