Russians attacked the port of Chornomorsk during the day: a member of the ship’s crew was injured

On Thursday, January 15, the enemy launched a missile attack on the seaport of Chornomorsk. A civilian vessel was damaged, and one person was injured.
This was reported by Ukrainian Seaports Authority and the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.
The Russians attacked the berth of the Black Sea port, where a civilian vessel under the flag of Malta was located, with a ballistic missile.
“The vessel was preparing to transport container cargo. As a result of the attack, three containers were damaged and an oil leak occurred. A boom barrier is being installed to contain the consequences,” the ministry noted.
It is known that one of the vessel’s crew members was also injured as a result of the Russian attack. He is currently receiving necessary medical care.
“All relevant services are working at the scene. Work is underway to eliminate the consequences of the attack and prevent pollution of the water area,” the USPA said.
Recall that on January 12, the Russians attacked civilian vessels in the Odesa region. Two civilian vessels under the flags of Panama and San Marino were hit by an attack by enemy drones.
