In January, Ukraine exported 5 million tons of agricultural products: grain exports increased


In January 2026, 3.4 million tons of grain crops, 351.7 thousand tons of oilseeds and 479.7 thousand tons of vegetable oils were exported.

This was reported by the Association “Ukrainian Agrarian Business Club” (UABC).

Thus, in January 2026, 5 million tons of agricultural products were exported, which is 0.8% less than the same indicator of the previous month.

There is an increase in the volume of grain exports and a decrease in the volume of all other types of products. The main product currently exported is corn.

The structure of agricultural product exports in January was as follows:

• grain crops: 3.4 million tons (corn – 83% and wheat – 16%). Growth compared to the previous month: +13%;

• oilseeds: 351.7 thousand tons (soybean – 63%, rapeseed – 35% and sunflower – 1%). Decrease: -32%;

• vegetable oils: 479.7 thousand tons (sunflower oil – 82%, rapeseed – 10% and soybean – 7%). Decrease: -6%;

• oilcake after extraction of vegetable oils: 411.0 thousand tons (sunflower – 73%, soybean – 27%). Decrease: -32%;

• other types of agro-industrial products: 349.9 thousand tons. Decrease: -15%.

Earlier, USM reported that in the 2025/26 marketing year, the forecast for Ukrainian grain exports fell by approximately 500 thousand tons.
